From the very beginning our vision has included four ways we work to end human trafficking: creating awareness, connecting with victims, caring for survivors and counteracting trafficking through prevention. Click on the pictures below to learn why each of these strategies matter and how you can get involved.
Sheltered91 care programs are the heart of our mission because what happens after someone leaves trafficking is just as important as getting them out.
Sheltered91 offers two programs for survivors of trafficking and their children: Restore and Reach. Women typically begin in Restore, where they gain tools, support, and community as they start a new chapter. In Reach, participants live in Sheltered91 housing while receiving affordable transitional or independent living support for up to three years.
Both programs are trauma-informed, strengths-based, individualized, and Christ-centered. Every participant can access group and individual therapy, case management, transportation, basic needs support, and a bi-weekly food pantry.
Reach Independent & Transitional Living Programs
Participants in the Reach program choose either transitional or independent living depending on their circumstances and availability. Participants are provided with wrap around services to help them reach their educational, career and therapeutic goals.
